The university of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrai (official name: University of Valenciennes) is a French multidisciplinary university located in Valenciennes in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. She is a member of the PRES Universit Lille Nord de France.

In 1964 , a branch of the Science Faculty of Lille is created Valenciennes.
