The University of Technology of Troyes (UTT) is a public institution of higher education and research located in Troyes (in the region Champagne-Ardenne in France ). She has trained as an engineer certified by the Conference of Grandes Ecoles courses equivalent to Bac +5 traditional schools and also offers master's, and recently licensed professional.

Summary

History

University of Technology of Troyes was created by a decree in September 1994. It moved into its premises in September 1996 upon delivery of the first installment thereof, then in September 1997 upon delivery of the second tranche. It comes from the Institute of Engineering Technology of Troyes, he opened in September 1993 , and was a branch of the University of Technology of Compigne.

In 2011 , UTT becomes the fourth school of engineering, recruiting at the post-bac in the ranking of top 100 engineering schools

Organization

University of Technology of Troyes is a EPSCP .

Training

  • Trained as an engineer for 5 years without competition through, with free choice of specialization in the third year.
  • A course on measurement: the first year, students select materials (Value Units) that he wishes tudier.Ses choice led him gradually to a specialist after two years.

Engineers

UTT offers a number of engineering programs accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research after the notice of the Committee on Engineering degrees . These diplomas are organized into two years of preparatory classes called Integrated Core and three years of engineering program called branches. Like conventional preparatory classes, the first two years prepare students to enter the engineering program, with two differences: there is no entrance exam and choices should be limited to the various training courses presented by the three schools in the group of universities of technology :

  • degree in engineering specialty computer and information systems (ISI) (initial and continuing training)
  • degree in engineering specialty systems, networks and telecommunications (SRT) (initial and continuing training)
  • degree in engineering specialty industrial systems (IS) (initial and continuing training)
  • degree in engineering specialty mechanical systems (SM) (initial and continuing training)
  • degree in engineering specialty materials (MTE) (initial and continuing training).

Admission is granted after a bachelor of science for the common part and a level DEUG , DUT , BTS or CPGE for the branches. It is also possible to be admitted after a Master's in 2nd year engineering course.

The postgraduate courses of the UTT rely in particular on research laboratories and a graduate school.

Engineering degrees ISI and SRT will be implemented in September 2010 to replace the old diploma engineer Specialty Information Systems and Telecommunications (SIT), the branch will operate two to three years for students enrolled in SIT graduate.

The UTT has a Chair of Industrial Ecology.

Track Classic

The training lasts five years. The first two years are a common, following three years relevant teaching in a specialty.
