  • Information technology and systems

To apply for doctoral studies at the UTC, it is necessary to hold a Masters degree or a French or foreign equivalent.

International

Exchanges of students and faculty are at the heart of international policy of the UTC. Indeed it offers its students the opportunity, throughout their training, experiences abroad, from the placement, the dual degree through study abroad programs or projects at university. The arrival and reception of students and faculty at UTC foreigners are also possible.

International Programs

The UTC participates in international exchange programs such as ERASMUS or BRAFITEC , and has signed bilateral cooperation agreements with universities in the major regions. UTCens favorite destinations are the European countries, Canada and the United States. However other countries such as Brazil , the Mexico , or Singapore , are also increasingly popular.

Double degree

Many double-degree agreements between UTC and universities trangres.Ces agreements are not only European and allow affected students to obtain both an engineering degree from UTC and a Master of Science university in which is made the stay. Different partnerships at the University of Technology of Compiegne:

Research and Innovation

Research areas

Research at UTC is based on four pillars of innovation. These are divided into nine research themes in nine laboratories in total. Of the nine research units, four are UMR . Here are the major research areas defined by the UTC:

  • Bio-inspired Technologies and Sustainable Development
  • Intelligent transport clean and safe
  • Eco-design: materials, energy, equipment and housing
  • Human Interaction - technological and social systems

The research activities of the University of Technology of Compigne were given the Carnot label since 2006 .

Foundation for Innovation UTC

The objective of the "Foundation for Innovation UTC" is to reinforce the already widely maintained between higher education, research and socio-economic tissue. Among the top donors who are part of the circle of founding members include:

Student Clubs and Societies

Community life is organized around the BDE.

The associations may reflect a technical project ( Coupe de France robotics , Shell Eco-marathon ...) to participate in humanitarian, cultural (theater festival , a festival of short films , music Overall, choir, drama ...), event , be related to tolerance and good citizenship (Fight against homophobia, Engineers Without Borders ...) to discover the world of work (the junior company USEC), or simply contribute to the ambiance of Student Life (Student Journal, home bar, various clubs etc.).

Participation in community life, however, is strongly encouraged by the establishment, particularly through the study regulations: participation in extra-curricular activities, whether related to the association involvement in the UTC or not, is mandatory to obtain an engineering degree. On the other hand, the study regulations recently provided the opportunity to develop a semester eased to encourage involvement in personal projects, often linked to community life.

From February 2011 is added to the program during a unique "Associative Activities (AA01). This is a course called "general culture" which aims to enable students to understand the management and organization of associative structures of all sizes. It will encourage investment by students at the local level, but also to prepare them to work in a sector that accounts for 1,435,000 jobs in 2006

Alumni Association (Springboard UTC)

UTC is a springboard alumni association of 1901 whose mission is to unite, to lead and provide services to graduates from the ranks of the CTU.
