- 1966: Creation of the IUT de Rouen , one of the first IUT de France
- 1968: Faculty of Law
- 1968: Dept. of Psychology
- 1992: UFR Sciences et Techniques of Sports and Physical Activities
- 1995: Opening of an IUT at Evreux
- 1996: Laying the foundation stone of the Faculty of Medicine-Pharmacy (Ward Martainville). Creation of two other IUP : management and business management, electrical engineering and industrial computing
- 1997: Inauguration of the Building Research Institute of Fine Organic Chemistry (IRCOF)
- 1999: Inauguration of the Faculty of Medicine-Pharmacy Martinville (near Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Rouen ). Opening a Department of IUT to Elbeuf
- 2004: Inauguration of the first tranche and laying the foundation stone of the second tranche of the Institute of Materials of the Faculty of Science and Technology Madrillet.
- 2010: Extension of the Faculty of Medicine-Pharmacy Professor Stewart Street with the construction of a 500-seat auditorium and two other 200 seats.
