The Ukrainian Autonomous Orthodox Church in America is a non-canonical Orthodox Church emerged from the decision of all the bishops of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church autocephalous to separate from the self-proclaimed Patriarch Moisey in 2005. The head of the Church carries the title of Metropolitan and Archbishop major, with residence in the U.S. (current holder: Bishop Ioan).
