Total Corruption

The total corruption is a theological doctrine Calvinist after a radical interpretation of the Augustinian and original sin. It teaches that man has become the slave of sin after the fall and became unable to accept the hello even when it is offered.

This doctrine is part of the corpus of beliefs of many Protestant denominations, including Lutheranism , the Anglican , the Methodist and Arminianism. The Jansenism also integrated some of this teaching.

The doctrine of corruption is challenged by the Catholic Church, the Magisterium says he was faithful to the teaching of Augustine. In addition, the Council of Trent condemned this interpretation.
