Thual is a French geo-political.

Functions, course

Former official of the Ministry of Civil Defence and worked in several ministerial offices, he taught religion to geopolitics Defense Intelligence College and has written or co-wrote some thirty books devoted primarily to the method geopolitics and its application in various parts of the world. He is particularly interested in religion Orthodox , Shiite and Buddhist , and many troubled regions like the Caucasus.

He is currently an advisor to the Senate and teaches at the Joint Defence College and the cole Pratique des Hautes Etudes.

His works have a revival of geopolitics French neo-realist. He has inspired Aymeric Chauprade which is very close and who succeeded him as professor of geopolitics at the School of War.

Freemason , extracted from the French National Grand Lodge he left in 2003, he was founder and Honorary Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Cultures and Spirituality ^Bibliography
