T. R. France

Richard Thomas is a specialist in France New Testament and a rector an Anglican. He was Director of Wycliffe Hall at Oxford from 1989 to 1995 and also worked for the London School of Theology.

Born April 2, 1938 he was educated at the Grammar School in Bradford and Balliol College Oxford (MA). He received his BD (Bachelor of Divinity degree is that of theology) at the University of London and his PhD at the University of Bristol. Then he took on the duties of vicar in Cambridge , he was then Some of his books

He is also co-editor of The New Bible Commentary: 21st-Century Edition.
