Ibn Kathir (d. 1327) wrote a biography of the prophet.
For some, Volume II of the Sira of Mahmoud Hussein proceeded to rewrite history, erasing what seems bothersome to them. Note Do not confuse confused Sira and sirt where T should be pronounced.
The word sirt is a transcript of an Arabic word meaning journey, route found frequently in the Qur'an . Then the path to follow .
