Shawwal
Shawwal ( Arabic : ) is the tenth month of the Muslim calendar. It is marked by the Eid al-Fitr (Arabic: "the feast of breaking the fast"), held on the first day of this month, which comes just after the month of Ramadan.
Pious Muslims have the habit of fasting six days of overtime during this month (the "six days of Shawwal) to complete the fast of the year.
