Shabbat The Treaty

The Treaty Shabbat is the first treaty of the order Moed of Mishnah. The purpose of the treaty is primarily laws for the day of Shabbat during which we must suspend all work according to what is written in the Torah "Observe the Sabbath day to sanctify it," 'You shall do no work ".

This treaty has 24 chapters which detail the 39 types of work prohibited during Shabbat. The Gemara Shabbat of the treaty is published in 157 pages in the Babylonian Talmud and 92 in the Jerusalem Talmud.
