Second Epistle To Timothy
The Second Epistle to Timothy is a book of the New Testament.
It is sent by the Apostle Paul to his disciple Timothy.
This is one of the three Pastoral Epistles with the First Epistle to Timothy and the Epistle to Titus.
Paul wrote the second letter during his second imprisonment, shortly before his martyrdom. It contains the last words of the apostle and shows the wonderful courage and the confidence with which he faced death.
Summary
Chapter 1 contains greetings from Paul and the mission entrusted to Timothy. Chapters 2 and 3 provide various warnings and guidelines, with an invitation to face the dangers ahead. Chapter 4 is a message to friends of Paul, with tips on how to deal with apostates.
