Content
In the second letter of Paul to the Corinthians, Paul again refers to himself as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God and reassures the people of Corinth that his visit will not be another painful visit, but what it has to say, it does not cause pain, but to reassure them the love he has for them.
This letter is shorter compared to the first and a bit confusing if the reader is not aware of the social, religious and economic community. Paul felt that the situation in Corinth was more complicated and felt attacked.
Some people question his authority as an apostle and he compares the level of difficulty to other cities he visited, where he was welcomed as the Galatians. He is criticized for the way he speaks and writes and believes it is right to defend themselves with some of its important lessons.
He stressed the importance of forgiving others, and the new agreement that God has the Spirit of the living God (2 Cor. 3:3), and the importance of being a person of Christ and give generously to God's people in Jerusalem. The letter ends with his own experience of how God changed his life.
