Salome (New Testament)
Also known as Mary or Salome Salome the Myrrh-bearing women (Greek Muron, "fragrance liquid" and the verb phoreo "carry." because it was one of the women who accompanied Christ in the tomb.
St. Mary Magdalene, Saint Joan, Saint Mary Salome, wearing perfume liquids in vials, ointment jars or cans to embalm and anoint the body of Christ.

According to the Golden Legend , she was born the third marriage of Saint Anne with Salome. It would be the wife of Zebedee and mother of apostles of Zebedee Jacques told the Greater and John.
It is celebrated on October 22 in the West and August 3 in the East. It has been likened to one of the holy Maries whose memory is revered in the Camargue , which are celebrated, one, Mary Jacobe on May 25 and the second Mary Salome, the 1st Sunday after October 22.

- Mk 16.1: "When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jacques, and Salome, bought spices, go to anoint Jesus. "
- Jn 19:25: "Near the cross were his mother, the sister of his mother, Mary, wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. "
