Salih Salih or ( The story of Salih

Salih was a descendant of Noah after eight or nine generations. Thamud is an ascendant giving its name to the tribe. The Thamud that Salih was to convert were the successors of the `Ad (in) that the Prophet Hud tried to convert. As `ad, and as the Nabataeans of Petra they have houses and tombs troglodytes. The country seems Thamud further south toward the Gulf of Aqaba and Sinai although Tabari writes "they had dug in the rock houses in the mountains of Syria and refers only to other passages . The Quran does not explain what this female camel miraculous. Tabari complements this description. The thamdites Salih asked to perform a miracle: they wanted the rock born a redhead camel and her calf in the same color and they both go to drink at the source.

"Salih said:" It is easy to God. "He began to pray, the rock roared and cracked by the order of God. He pulled out a female camel hair with her little red that ran with it . Despite the miracle, the thamdites are not convinced. Salih is a magician. Moreover, the camel and her calf drank all the water from the well so that this day he is no more water for themselves and their families. It was agreed that the water would be every other day for the camel and the other for thamdites. It lasted thirty years. Salih said the prophecy that he who would kill a child camel brown with blue eyes. For thirty years we killed all the male children with blue eyes and red to prevent the prophecy come true. In the end the thamdites thought that the prophecy was false and Salih had resulted that make them kill their own children. A child with blue eyes red was spared. Of thamdites tried to kill Salih and those are the ones who died crushed by a boulder. They dared not always address the camel, red is the child who had it and killed her by cutting off its legs. Four days later came the punishment .
