Gian Giacomo Caprotti or Giacomo da Oreno Caprotti said Salai, Salai, Salaij Andrea Salai Salai or Italian (from little devil) ( Milan , ~ 1480 - Milan, 10 March 1524 ) was an Italian painter of the Lombard school the entourage of Leonardo , his pupil and disciple of his 15 years.

He is the son of Pietro di Giovanni, a tenant of a vineyard of Leonardo near the Porta Vercellina and is collected by Leonardo to his ten years.
He became the disciple of Leonardo from his 15 years, it is often the model and participates in many of his paintings and produces its own designs.
He accompanies Leonard Mantua , Venice and Florence.
