Sainte Anne
Sainte Anne designates more holy , blessed and venerable Christian , mainly:
- Anne ( first century ), as the Proto of Jacques and the Pseudo-Matthew , the mother of the Virgin Mary and thus the grandmother of Jesus Christ. She is the patron saint of carpenters and cabinet makers as a result of this position in the genealogy of Christ. You should know that in churches, the tabernacle (carpentry work traditionally) houses the consecrated hosts (symbol of Christ's body). The body of the Virgin Mary being thus regarded as the first tabernacle (which housed the first body of Christ), and St. Anne is the mother of the Virgin, it is the holy representative of that craft.
