Saint-Blaise-sur-Richelieu is a municipality in Quebec ( Canada ), located in the regional county municipality of Haut-Richelieu , in the administrative region of Montrgie. It is named in honor of Blaise of Sebaste.

History
The municipality was formed in 1892 from detachments of the parishes of St. John the Evangelist ( Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu ), Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie (Acadia) and Valentine. Located on the west bank of the Richelieu, the municipality is known for its large-scale agricultural practices.
