Religious Science Research
Religious Science Research (ISR) is a review of a scientific quarterly, for researchers in religious studies in religious history and theology. It was founded in 1910 by Leonce de Grandmaison.
Summary |
Published in 1910, as a supplement to the journal tvdes , at the initiative of its director, Father Leonce de Grandmaison Researches ... quickly take their independence, the crisis modernist era of seeking answers and dialogue that went beyond the objectives of the studies.
For this review the Company of Jesus engages in a more direct scientific dialogue in the field of religious studies. The editorial line was drawn by Leonce de Grandmaison , including two editorials (1910 and 1923). Beyond the modernist crisis , the ambition of the review is to uphold the historical research in theology , in the intelligence of dogma , as in other Christian religions.
