Regional Council Israel
The Regional Councils are one of three forms of territorial administration in Israel.
The other two are the cities and local councils. There (2003) 53 regional councils in Israel, usually responsible for the administration of rural settlements. Communities managed by a regional council does not generally exceed 2000 individuals. Each local council will send a number of representatives proportional to its size and set before each election.
