Raymond Chevallier

Raymond Chevallier ( in 1929 - two thousand and four ) is a historian French.

Former member of the French School in Rome , honorary president of the French Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, he was a lecturer at the University of Tours and the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes. His seminar historical topography and photo interpretation was visited by many prospectors air French: R. Agache , J. Dassi , R. Goguey, D. Jalmain, L. Monguilan, etc.. He specialized in the study of Roman roads and ancient tracks through aerial photography.
