Rationalist Union
The Rationalist Union is a French non-profit organization founded in 1930, driven in particular by the physicist Paul Langevin. It promotes the role of reason in coping skills, organization, experimentation and criticism unique to humans, and to recognize that advanced technology, scientific, political and cultural rights are mainly due to the reason.
She struggles against different forms of dogmatism and against the use of the supernatural , and promotes education secular and republican. She conducts seminars, conferences, a radio show on France Culture (Sunday morning per month) publishes two magazines (one bi-monthly and quarterly), and distributes an annual award for a work inspired rationalist.
