Pillars Of Islam
The pillars of Islam are the essential duties that all Muslims must follow. The most notable and respected are five in number. These duties are not explicitly outlined in the Koran as are the Ten Commandments in the Bible , but reported in a hadith prophetic: "Islam is built on five pillars "(Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim). The concept has been adopted by all branches of Islam , with exceptions such as Kharijites who reject Sunni Together the six articles of faith (` aqeedah ), the five pillars of Islam are five important obligations to be met by any responsible person (after puberty, of sound mind and having heard the call of Islam ). The Twelver Shiites believe in a doctrine, including the five pillars and others, but regard them differently. The five articles of faith are the Roots of Religion ( ), which must be added the branches of religion similar to the Sunni pillars: Ismailis consider four of the five pillars of Sunni and add "love and devotion" to the imams , to Muhammad and to God, purity The Druze The Druze reject sharia and obligations.
