Perseus Portal
Perseus is an online library and open access to scientific journals in French social sciences , established by the Ministry of National Education , Higher Education and Research.
Its implementation was entrusted to the University of Lyon II , and a second site scanning and production has been chosen by the department, operational since 2008: The Library of Humanities and Social Sciences Paris Descartes-CNRS (UMS 3036). Its development was entrusted to the computer company Linagora.
Prompted by the research community, concerned for better visibility of their scientific production, the portal Perseus aims to digitize and put online retrospective collections of this vast corpus. Broad dissemination of this rich scientific heritage aims to provide a better appreciation of French research in the logic of public access and free.
With over 130,000 units documentary freely accessible online, the funds of Perseus is the most comprehensive resource of articles in the humanities and social speaking.
For some of these journals, the most recent collections is published on the portal Revues.org.

- Storage: All the magazines on the portal Perseus is being archived. This is the CINES ( National Computer Centre of Higher Education ) in collaboration with the Perseus, which ensures that mission.
Developments
- Lyon 2 working on its segmentation in order to adapt it to local projects because many universities have expressed interest in replication.
- IT developments are possible adaptation to other types of materials as magazines, can import metadata from an ILS, possibility of outside contributions.

- Dandrau
- Successor to the Bulletin of the French School of Athens (1868-1871), the Dandrau is published since 1877. Published in several annual, BCH collects and studies on ancient chronicles of excavations and archaeological discoveries.
