Paul Marie Duval
Paul-Marie Duval, born on 6 August 1912 in Paris and died on 14 January 1997 at Versailles , is a historian French, a specialist in Gaul Celtic and Gallo-Roman times. Alumnus of the Ecole Normale Superieure (1934), a member of the French School in Rome , director of studies at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (IVe section) from 1946 to 1980, professor at College de France in 1964 in 1982 , a member of the Academy of Inscriptions and Belles Lettres (1971).
