St. Pascal Baylon

Paschal Baylon, one of was born in Spain on 17 May 1540. It is a holy Catholic celebrated May 17.

Easter is celebrated for his devotion to the Holy Eucharist , he spent hours in ecstasy before the tabernacle.

Life

Paschal Baylon was born in Spain in Aragon , in a household of modest farmers, Martin Baylon and Isabelle Jubera. Very small, he showed a great attraction to the church where her mother was driving, and stayed long hours in prayer before the tabernacle.

His parents placed him as a shepherd. By keeping his animals, he prayed constantly, with a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin.

At age 20, he wished to join the Franciscan monastery Soccolans ^Veneration

• Paschal Baylon was canonized in 1690 by Pope Alexander VIII.
• In 1897 , Leo XIII declared the patron of eucharistic works and the International Eucharistic Congress.
• His feast day is scheduled for May 17
