Parmenas

Parmenas was one of the first seven deacons of the Christian Church. He was martyred in the ^first century , under Trajan , at Philippi in Macedonia which is considered the apostle.

It is a holy Christian celebrated July 28 with four other deacons ^Citation

Acts of the Apostles - Chapter 6 - verses 3-5:

"But seek with you, brethren, seven men of good reputation .... The proposal pleased the whole assembly is chosen and Stephen ... Philippe , Prochorus , Nicanor , Timon , Parmenas and Nicolas ... .
