Called old-calendar Orthodox, Old-Calendar, Calendar or Palomrologites Vtro-Orthodox disagree with several Orthodox churches , including the Orthodox Church of Constantinople , the Orthodox Church of Greece , the Romanian Orthodox Church of the Church Bulgarian Orthodox , the refusal to abandon the Julian calendar by the Orthodox during a pan-Orthodox synod part which took place in May 1924 in Constantinople.
These Orthodox retain the traditional calendar Julian, still used today by the churches which constitute the majority of the faithful of the Orthodox Church.
