The Orthodox Church of Greece - Holy Synod in Resistance is one of many non-canonical Orthodox Churches, old-calendar and traditionalists of Greece. The origin of the rupture is the adoption by the Orthodox Church of Greece , "official" and "canon" of the Gregorian calendar in 1924.
The first hierarch of the Holy Synod and Chairman is the Most Reverend Metropolitan Cyprian of Fili and Oropos since 18 April 1985.
