The College Pataphysique was founded in 1948 , his public activities continued until 1975. It reopened its doors in 2000. On this occasion, the National Library of France had thus Pataphysique : "The concepts underlying the definition of pataphysics are not new. The Journal of the College Pataphysique and folders, Subsidia Pataphysica, Carnets quarterly, and since September 15, 2007, the Correspondence College Pataphysique, have published numerous unpublished texts of Alfred Jarry and numerous studies on its life and work.
