New Testament
Called New Testament or New Testament (in Greek : HE all writings relating to the life of Jesus and the early years of Christianity, which are regarded as genuine by Christian churches. The word "testament" comes from the Greek word (diatheke "will, contract, agreement") translated into Latin by testamentum (will, testimony). The Greek word has a broader meaning (the contract) that the Latin word. So some prefer the translation by Alliance.
Christians believe that the Bible consists therefore of the Old Testament (written prior to Jesus) and the New Testament.

- 14 letters, mostly attributed to Paul of Tarsus ;

The books of the New Testament is not chronological by date of writing - which is also not known with precision (see synoptic problem ) - but responds to a logical progression:
- the preaching of Jesus, told in the invocation of four disciples;
- the early history of the early Church;
- the epistles of Paul to the early Christian communities, some of which is pseudepigraphic: there prodigal education, advice and clarification on the new religion ;
- other epistles attributed to the first disciples but could date of the second century the majority References
