The National School of Arts and textile industries or ENSAIT is a great school of engineering French. It is one of the first schools in Europe in its field since it formed more than 60% of engineers textile French of engineers with strong skills in innovation. History
In 1876, the City Council of Roubaix , eager to satisfy the wishes of the people to have special education, adapted to the needs of a large industrial city, adopted the creation of an institution designed to bring together on a central point academic schools (weaving, drawing ...) with their collections, the museum and industrial art, and library, previously scattered throughout the city.
The library, built in 1881, and the amphitheater are included in the inventory of historical monuments. The school was founded in 1889 and built by architect northerner Dutert Ferdinand.

Training
ENSAIT offers two training courses for the engineering degree recognized by the Commission as an engineer.
