Millennium Christianity
In the religious sphere, the millennium is the term used to describe the thousand years reign of Christ on Earth. This millennium is described at the beginning of chapter 20 book Bible of the Apocalypse.
There are several theories concerning the interpretation of this notion. These theories are grouped under the term millenarianism.
The term has more recently been reused in other contexts and for other reasons, the most famous case being that of Nazi Germany and his notion of a "reign of a thousand years" (Reich Tausendjhrige), integrated propaganda system of Nazi party to power.

For information: in most languages the word "millennium" does not appear to be in use, and the majority of which deal millennialism there is a reference to the equivalent of the word millennium (the case of the Italian section Millenarismo that refers to Millennio "thousand years").
