The Malankara Orthodox Church Indian Orthodox Church and is an autocephalous Eastern Orthodox Church of Kerala in India. It belongs to all churches of the three councils. The head of the Church carries the title of Catholicos of the East and Metropolitan of Malankara with residence in Kottayam (incumbent: Moran Mor Baselios Marthoma Paulose II since 1November 2010 ).

The Malankara Orthodox Church autocephalous must be distinguished from the Syro-Malankara Orthodox tradition but also canonically attached to the Syriac Orthodox Church (Patriarchate of Antioch).
