Louis-Jacques-Maurice de Bonald, born 30 October 1787 in Millau ( Aveyron ) and died on 25 February 1870 in Lyon , was a clergyman French , archbishop of Lyon from 1839 to 1870. He was one of the staunchest defenders of the ultramontanism cons old Gallicanism French.
Louis-Jacques-Maurice de Bonald was the son of writer Louis-Gabriel de Bonald ( one thousand seven hundred and fifty-four - one thousand eight hundred forty ), author of the original legislation, and of Elizabeth of Guibal Combescure.
Return migration after 18 Fructidor, it is placed in a boarding house in Lyon. His graduation, he entered the seminary of St. Sulpice, where he was noted for his ardent piety.
