Lieutenant General
A general of army corps is in the French army , a military designation, the third of four in order of general officers. General de Corps is located above major general and below the army general. These regulations of a general officer of the rank of Major General who receives "rank and title" of "General Corps."
Although officially there are only two grades in the general officer corps, that of brigadier general and that of Major General , then the generals of division are "elevated to the rank and title" of general corps then army generals, since a decree of 6 June 1939 .
A general of army corps can control a corps , a unit composed of several divisions. Its insignia is composed of four stars.
