Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is named after the term kundalini , which according to this doctrine, refers to a primordial energy which would be present in every human being and that would evolve along a main channel located in the spine, the center of the spinal cord from the sacrum to the top of the head.
Kundalini yoga aims to awaken the consciousness of self through the mastery of this energy, the kundalini through the practice of Asana (posture) of pranayama (breath techniques) of bandha (locks, contractions) and recitation of mantra.

Kundalini Yoga in India
Kundalini Yoga is one of 22 schools of Yoga. It belongs to the Indian tradition and unorthodox is exposed in the Kundalini Yoga Upanishad which is part of the Yoga Upanishads.
