The King Abdulaziz International Airport (Arabic: ) ( IATA : JED ICAO code : OEJN) is located close to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

Its proximity to Mecca gives it a special role. Thus one of its terminals is specially dedicated to the Hajj.

This airport was designed and is administered by the French manager Airport Paris (ADP).

It is named after King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz bin Abderrahman Al Saud (1880-1953) said Ibn Saud, first King of Saudi Arabia.

North Terminal

It has, arrivals side, six border checkpoints, three belt loaders and three customs stations. Departure side, after a lobby you will find two check-in halls, customs posts, a small duty-free and departure lounge equipped with a fast food restaurant and sometimes have wifi. There is no public transport. Enplanements and landings are made by bus between a car park between the two main terminals. It is used by most airlines:

This terminal is used mainly during the period of Hajj, it is composed of two halves. The South is open (hence without air conditioning) and has a very minimalist comfort. The North has gangways and several waiting rooms windows and air conditioning.

A terminal is for the exclusive use of the King and his family. It has two bridges and is located between two main terminals in the West.
