Ka39B Ibn Al Ashraf
Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf (in Arabic : )
(? - 624), poet and one of the leaders of the tribe Jewish of Medina, the Banu Nadir , opposed Mohammed after the Battle of Badr. His assassination was ordered by the Prophet followed the expulsion of his tribe.
Born to a mother from the tribe Banu Nadir and a father Arabic , he followed the religion of his mother .
Dissatisfied with the execution order of Muhammad members of Quraysh captured at the Battle of Badr , Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf had traveled to Mecca to show support to this tribe, by establishing Some sources an alliance with Abu Sufyan in contravention of the constitution of Medina. He would have considered eliminating the Prophet. According to al-Zamakhshari, al-Tabarsi, al-Razi and al-Baydawi, it would be the archangel Gabriel, who allegedly informed the Prophet of his actions .
He was reportedly also criticized for having an erotic poem about women's party Muslim .
Muhammad had ordered the assassination of Ka'ib ibn al-Ashraf , Muhammad ibn Maslama volunteered. With four accomplices including a foster brother of Ibn al-Ashraf, Muhammad ibn Maslama drew Ka'ib ibn al-Ashraf outside its walls a moonlit night on the pretext of negotiation , .
The Banu Nadir were attacked and expelled shortly after, they took refuge at Khaybar , but there were pursued and defeated by the Muslims in 628 or 629 at the Battle of Khaybar .
