Joseph Barsabbas
Joseph or Joseph Barsabbas Barsabbas, surnamed Justus or "Fair" is a character mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles and is part of the list of 70 disciples .
Summary |
The King James Version considers Barsabbas and Jude are the same two people. This is not the case of RSV (Bible of French Protestants), who distinguished names, as in Greek.

Barnabas
There is also this mention in Acts 4.36:
Joseph, surnamed by the apostles Barnabas, which means son of exhortation, a Levite from Cyprus
This is the name used in the letter sent to Antioch (see below).
Western codex or codices Bezae Barnabas uses the term in Act 1.22.
The name Barnabas is used much more (32 times) in the Proceedings. This is St. Barnabas.
The Journey to Antioch
- 3:19 p.m. This is why I believe we should not create difficulties to the Gentiles who are turning to God,
