John V (Pope)
John V, probably born in Antioch in Syria , Pope of 685 to 686.
He participated as legate of Pope Agathon (pope) in the sixth Ecumenical Council ( Third Council of Constantinople ). He was elected pope on July 23 proposal of 685 Eastern Emperor.
He died 2 August 686 and was buried in St. Peter.
