The success is overwhelming, and he sinks into heroin . Kiedis Frusciante then begs to return to the U.S. to find his girlfriend at the time, he agreed. So alone that Kiedis is promoting European Blood Sugar Sex Magik. The ensuing tour was a triumph for the group. However, the discomfort of John Frusciante is increasing: it does not want the celebrity to the utmost. In addition, he said mysteriously hear voices in him. Meanwhile, the group sympathizes with the Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam , performing their first games on tour . During the tour, the band played Saturday Night Live, an American show broadcast live on television. Rehearsals are going wrong for the group since Frusciante is under the influence of heroin and Kiedis apprehends its passage before the cameras. Thus, while the Red Hot Chili Peppers must interpret the single Under the Bridge , the piece begins Frusciante and Kiedis sings differently false . For the whole group, this evening is a failure, but ironically, the album sales continue to soar and the group is always well received .
