Jean Duhaime
Jean Duhaime (born 1948) is a theologian, a biblical scholar, a sociologist and a professor of Quebec. From 2005 to 2009, he was Dean of the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Montreal , where he has taught since 1976.
He studied Bible at the University of Montreal and the French Biblical and Archaeological School of Jerusalem. He has conducted research trips to Leuven , Strasbourg and Orxford.
Interested in the psalms , the prophets and the texts of Qumran , it is very involved in interfaith dialogue , particularly on relations between Christianity and Judaism in the Christian-Jewish Dialogue of Montreal. He is editor of the French section of the site JCRelations.net / en /
He also directed the journal Theological and conducts research into science of religions with the Centre for the Study of Religions at the University of Montreal. He is a member of the Christian community St. Albert the Great.
