Jean Daltroff
Daltroff Jean, born in Metz in 1950 and son Alfred Daltroff and Claire-Lise Cahen, is a historian and professor of French classics. He married in 1976 in Strasbourg , Catherine Blum. He has two daughters, Sarah and Alexandra.

He studied at the Lycee Fabert of Metz and the Universities of Metz and Nancy II (Masters). He graduated from state educator in Strasbourg in 1975 and a doctorate in history in December 1982 at the University of Strasbourg with the price of the Friends of Old Strasbourg G. Frankhauser, 1983.
He is a lecturer in history and civilization at the University of Nancy II from 1990 to 1994. He also graduated from teacher authority to supervise research in 1998 at the University of Strasbourg II. He is currently professor of history Certified Senior Geography Aquiba School of Strasbourg, a position he has held since 1976.

He is the author of numerous historical studies on the Jews of Alsace and Lorraine published particularly in the Journal of Jewish Studies , Jewish Archive, historians and geographers, La Revue d'Alsace, Lorraine Les Cahiers, haguenoviennes Studies, Yearbook Friends of Old Strasbourg Kochersbari Les Cahiers des Pays de la Nied. He has also written many articles and references to the NDBA and the site of Judaism in Alsace and Lorraine, the JNF Almanac, Voices Unite and Links.
