Jacques Androuet Hoop II ( one thousand five hundred fifty - 1,614 ), is an architect French.

Biography

Youngest son of Jacques I , II Jacques Androuet Hoop with his brother first Baptist work in the castle of the Louvre (it will build the Grande Galerie du Louvre Pavillon de Flore and the Tuileries).

He starts the Pont Neuf in Paris on the orders of Henry III , but the civil war prevents the end of his achievement. Androuet also built several mansions in Paris.

In 1581, he was named "valet and architect of the lord king's brother."

He was appointed in 1596 by Henri IV Comptroller General of the buildings.

He married Mary in 1602 with Malapert.

Some historians have attributed his plans for the Place Royale (now Place des Vosges ), whose construction began in 1605.

Protestant Jacques II is best known for being the architect of the temple of Charenton , built for the Reform community in Paris in 1607.

In 1609, he appears in documents as the architect for the work of the Hotel de Soissons, belonging to Charles of Bourbon.
