Israel Prize
The Israel Prize is the highest award given annually by the State of Israel to Israeli personalities or organizations that have marked the year of an artistic point of view, cultural or scientific. Established in 1953 by Ben-Zion Dinur , Minister of Education, the award is presented at a national ceremony annual Jerusalem the day before the anniversary of the country's independence, Yom Ha'atzmaut.
