The National Veterinary School of Lyon , the National School of agricultural engineers from Clermont-Ferrand and the National School of Veterinary united on 1 January 2010, a new facility named VetAgro Sup Institute higher education and research in food, animal health, agronomy and environment.

Engineers and veterinarians
Like foreign universities, and for the first time in France, VetAgro Sup form, since 1 January 2010, engineers on campus in Clermont Agricultural and veterinary doctors on campus veterinarian Lyon, and inspectors Veterinary Public Health, within the internal school National School of Veterinary Services.
As it reaches critical mass, improves its readability VetAgro Sup international and legitimate status of "Grand Etablissement" of higher education and research.
A strengthened research
Teachers and researchers from these two schools combine their expertise on common themes:
- Agronomy / environment / health;
- Food / nutrition / health / management;
- Sustainable territorial development;
- Engineering and animal models for health.
