Founded in 1969, the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse is a public institution of higher education under the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research. This is one of four national institutes French polytechnic with those of Grenoble ( INP Grenoble ), to Nancy ( INPL ) and Bordeaux ( IPB ).

INP Toulouse enjoys an exceptional scientific and cultural crossroads of the North South East and West Europe.

With more than 600 regional players in the industry, research, training, but also from government, and the socio-economic INP participates actively in the center of aeronautics, space and embedded systems, the cluster competitiveness cancer bio-health, and Agrobiople.

The INPT has three main missions:

  • The initial training of engineers,
  • Continuing education,
  • Research and technology transfer for businesses.

Locally INP Toulouse is a founding member of the NEAR University of Toulouse.
