Moulay Idriss II ( Arabic : History
On the death of Idris I. , his wife Kenza (daughter of Chief Berber tribes Awarbas ), was pregnant, three months later she gave birth to a boy who received the name of Idris ( 793 ).
Rashid (Arabic: The tomb
Around 1458, his tomb, which was previously thought to Walili with his father, was found in the souks of Fez by the vizier Wattassides Yahya Zakariya Sultan Merinid `Abd al-Haqq. Zakariya Yahya thought to be a political process to his advantage, but it was a descendant of Idris who took the opportunity to have himself proclaimed sultan of Fez.
