Humanities is a journal monthly extension of the humanities and social set up in 1988. Independent company of any media group or institution, the monthly Social Sciences is based in Auxerre in the Yonne.
Summary |
A newsletter, already named Humanities, is published by Jean-Franois Dortier in 1988 in the form of a booklet produced by craftsmen: the first number is drawn at seventeen copies.
- In November 1990 the first issue on newsstands, devoted to Edgar Morin. The magazine is quickly becoming the monthly reference in the humanities. From 1998, Human Sciences also publishes books themes (humanities, panorama of knowledge, education and training organizations, the COMMUNCIATIONS, state of knowledge, dictrionnaire humanities, etc.)..
